When should I book a newborn photographer?

GREAT QUESTION;)

You should spend the first couple weeks of your pregnancy

deciding what you’re looking for in a newborn photographer

and plan on booking at the beginning of your second trimester.

I say this for two reasons:

1. Most photographers only take a certain number of

due dates a month to ensure the best experience and

you don’t want to miss out on getting the photographer of

your choice because they have no availability left!

2. Most photographers will offer a discount if you book

both maternity and newborn photos with them (I know I do!!)

and that way you can go ahead and start planning your maternity

pictures with them! It’s also a great way to get to know your

photographer before you trust them with your

most precious blessing once they’re born:)
