If you’ve been around for any amount of time, you know that I love to keep things simple and effective. I tend to choose 2 different newborn wraps that I utilize per session and today I want to show you my 2 favorite!
They’re super easy to create and I love the way they photograph on camera and I find myself using these two more than any others.
I feel strongly that instead of trying to perfect 27 different type of wraps, you should choose 3-4 and perfect them and learn how to best utilize them in your posing workflow.
I love this wrap because you can still baby’s sweet little toes and the curve of the wrap adds dimension to the photo.
2. The Twist Wrap
I love the added texture that the twist adds in the photo. The curve of the last layer is also appealing to the eye.
I also use the Swaddle Pro to perfect these wraps and keep baby nice and snug under the newborn wraps. You can check it out here!
Both of these wraps are super easy to use/create and I find myself going to these more than others!
Find what works for you and perfect it;)

[…] If all else fails…just swaddle baby. And not with the cute stacked hands on their chest/under their chin. Hands down and by their side to prevent a ton of movement and the chance to break free from the baby approved straight jacket. While it’s true, that not all babies enjoy being swaddled, I haven’t met one that didn’t fall asleep in my Swaddle Pro (i guess you got a bonus tip 2 for 1 in that one!). Highly recommend having one of those suckers on hand, too! You can check out 2 of My Favorite Wraps here! […]
